Thirtieth day – W 8/5/20

START:  Culvers Gap      4 am
FINISH:  Brady Rd.         9 pm
41.8 miles     17:00    2.5 mph
1,376.6 total miles   45.9 mpd
Nice weather   – much branch debris on the trail due yesterday’s tropical storm

Mercury finished her ‘200 miles of rocks’ this morning and her sore feet welcome somewhat softer footfalls.
A nice, non-hot/humid valley crossing followed with Jupiter buying her all sort of goodies to eat along the way.
We are in an exurbia with narrow roads not built for the volume, and speed, of traffic. Yes, it is true about NY/NJ drivers. The rural Tennessee-pastured Pegasus let’s its northern breed pass by often.
Mercury’s parents visit again to show their love and support and bring a few requested supplies. We should have only  a few more hours left of NY and then into NY and more rush-hour traffic!
